Hayden electric fan

Has anyone installed a Hayden electric fan? I recently installed a severe duty fan clutch on my truck and it sounds like my truck is going to lift off the ground. I figured this was a good idea in Texas, but an electric fan seems like a better idea. This fan clutch doesn't seem to disengage and the temperature has been in the 60's the last few days. Am I right in assuming this clutch is trying a little too hard? I feel like my gas is being turned into wind power.

Your fan clutch is trying too hard. I installed a new fan clutch on my Crown Vic and you would think that I now drive a airplane with the amount of air it is pulling. It is also veerrry noisy. Dual electric fans are expensive. Some are very happy with a Flex fan instead of a fan clutch.

What kind of fan did you install? Are you OK with the noise, because I'm thinking I can't handle the noise.

Electric fans can be noisy too. The 16" I'm running is way louder the the clutch fan was.

Electric fans can be noisy. My dual fan set up is very noisy when they kick on. Let me clairify that. If the AC compressor is running, they can be very noisy. The rest of the time they make no noise or only a little for a short period of time (< 30 secs). Overall, the setup is much quieter than stock, especially in winter.

Here is the link to the system I installed

Hey thanks guys. I have been thinking about the flex-a-lite. It seems like the better option than the fans that poke through the radiator itself. I just don't like that idea.
