Advice: Cats

I have a '95, 4.9 and want to get a high-flow cat. Anyone have one they recommend? Dynomax, Catco, Magnaflow??

Also, I am running Flowmaster 40 series, I'm looking for the best sound (deep rumble) anyone with the same setup who has a high-flow?

Thx

are you eliminating both cats and getting 1 new hi-flow? or just changing the last cat? if you do that then get a magnaflow hi-flow than a 3 1/2" tip on the end of your system...... youll notice a big change

I'd like to replace both cats. I figure that gives the best sound. Or is it better to do just the last one?

carsound makes the best cats. Catco does not.

Check the universals out on ebay and buy whatever size your pipe is.

I put one on my fathers dodge caravan that had a clogged cat and noticed better performance.

If you have 2 cats in a row one should replace them both, the one is a precat..

How are you determining that carsound is a better cat?

I've heard that they are both good, along with Random Technologies.

Anybody know any numbers for a cheap, but good, high flow cat for a 1995 4.9 inline six? I want to replace both my cats with one highflow so that I don't have the restiction, and get more performance.
