best price on shocks and rear ASB & tire update

Hi all

I am ready to buy my new shocks and helwig rear anti-sway bar... I have owned my 2002 "X" for all of 2 weeks now and LOVE IT! I can now say I have experianced the wallowing of this beast and less than ideal handling on rough roads.

I have wandered the web looking for online sites and comparing prices. I wondered if any of you have found a dependable and inexpensive source for these parts..?
I would appreciate your advice...

Also, an update in tire recall, I am having lots of trouble getting ANY firestone dealer to upgrade to REVO's.. The best price I got was $49 per tire fee to swap stock, recalled tires. I am calling the district office today to see what I can do.. The ford dealer has a service manager that was a GM for Firestone, he swears by BFG's and recommended against the Revos.. said for 90% of most people's needs the BFG will be better and last longer than the revos. After re-reading all the online research and consumer responses to the revos vs. BFG's I am still going for the revos...I'll let you know how it goes..

thanks alot
Bill

The best place that I found to get your shocks and asb. is at summitracing.com. And, you don't get any more respectable than that, and they are quick. I ordered my shocks from them on saturday afternoon and had them in hand tuesday afternoon.

I got my ASB from J C Whitney after finding the best price out there,
called them and they beat it by 10% and free 3 day delivery...
Since it's a name brand, there are no quality issues no matter where you get it from...
great product, the same horrible install instructions :-)
but summit may do the price matc as well... never hurts to ask !

Have you researched Landyots radius rods? I've not tried them but lots of folks here like them...
