79 bronco suspension onto 92 f150?

I have all the parts to bolt a 79 bronco SFA (solid front axle) onto my 92 f150 4x4. The questions:

Are the frame widths near the same?
Can the front brakes from the 92 they go onto the 79 spindles?
Can I put the front end gearing out of the 92 into the 79 SFA housing?

it looks like all I have to do is bolt up the 79 radius arms and brackets, then the rest is just plug and play.

The frame is a bit wider on the 92, the brackets will fit on the frame tho with no problems. Hub/rotor assembly will fit off the TTB as will the manual lockouts. The 92 calipers will work on the 79 bracket using the 79 caliper retaining clip. The gears should swap over, as they are both HP D44's. It's not really plug and play, the radius arm brackets must be modifed if they are stock 79 ones, you must have atleast 6" coils or the axle housing will bash into the engine xmember (which much be trimmed a bit anyways). Trac-bar mount must be custom fabricated and welded to the frame.

You must have atleast 4" lift coils (requires major xmember hacking) I reccomend 6" lift coils cause it will require less hacking up of the xmember.

hey can i use springs for a 82-96 bronco? I checked summit and they have 4" springs for f150, and 6" springs for a Bronco that are $139.

Yes, only thing with using the 82-96 springs is that they don't fit that well on the 78/79 coil pad. On my swap i made a pad that bolted to the radius arms and had a stud come up through the center and using the TTB coil pad and clamp, would holt the coil on the axle.

the xmember has to good size lips that hang down which the TTB brackets bolted to. When the axle is in you'll see where to trim, it's not too much. Your trimming so the housing doesn't bash into it. I'll try to get a picture of it tomorrow.
