Cruz,
I've heard tranny shift problems from MOST honest Edge owners in all the forums...
but many learn to feather the throttle at shift point rpms to help the tranny decide to shift...

I can only say I heard this because I don't have an edge and hearing this is why I got the Predator.. which shifts BETTER than stock in my humble opinion...
I really like the chirp the tires give in the 1-2 shift if I do it just right...

I only use the edge at level 3 and below and it shifts fine. I heard level 4 and 5 don't shift to great, but I don't run mine there because the EGTs get high real quick when passing and the unit backs down 100%.

That's why I went with the predator. It firms up the shifting of the tranny

How are the EGTs in 100 HP mode at WOT?

The temps get up around 1200F or so but I only have a cat back system.Full exhaust would probably bring it lower.

Did the Predator ruin the accuracy of your overhead mpg indicator? Mine was consistently 4% optimistic until I installed the edge and now it is worthless.

Sure seems to be no consistency with overheads.
Mine is great, probably means my wheels are going to fly off the truck anytime…

My overhead is usually within a half of a mile per gallon. Don't forget you have to reset it everytime you fill up.

"Don't forget you have to reset it everytime you fill up." and how you do that is important to how accurate it is.............seems this part is forgot.
