Thought i would let everyone know that if you are looking for the K&N air filter for the 5.4 it is still being made. If you go to some auto parts stores online they claim to have the filter ready for the new body style 5.4...this is untrue, just got off the phone with K&N and they said that is still for the old body style. I then asked when they were going to have the new filter ready and he said they had no idea, but you can sign up online to be notified when it does come out.

 

I would by a Green filter before you buy a K&N because they allow more air flow. I am a auto parts dealer and i went to a auto parts show and they had a set up showing how much air a K&N would let through vs. Green and the Green was much better.

 

Is the Green filter capable of filtering out as much particulate matter? Is the filter the same density as the K&N? How many microns?

I'd hate to think the Green filter lets more air through because it lets more of everything else through too.

I don't have any experience with Green or K&N filters.

 

Where do you find info on these filters? I have not heard of Green before. Do they make them for the 250s also?
