Am I screwed?

I am going to Arizona to buy a 1999 F350 Dually Crew Cab Lariat. ($19600)
In California there is no smog on diesels, but does it have to be a Ca diesel or can it be from another state?

A diesel is a diesel. No CA smog test needed.

Thank you,
I did not but the truck anyway. Fricken dealer wanted to charge me $300 for a 30 days of insurance. They said it was incase someone stole the truck. It would pay off the truck and pay me $5000. I told them that I have insurance and the truck would not leave the lot with out it . I was then told that they can't take it off and I told them that I can't but the truck! 1300 mile round trip for nothing! (well it wasn't for nothing I got to see my dad)
That was not the only issue with the truck but it was a deal killer!

Call DMV, and ask them if you'll have to pay impound fees. The guy who we bought my truck from, said he paid a fee. He bought the truck out of state. But, this was 10 years ago.
