afordable headers

We currently have a 89 f-350 with a 351w. I would like to purchase a set of headers, but have limited funds. The exhaust manifolds are in rough shape and need replacing. The current manifold have tubes exiting them. This is just a farm truck. Currently none of the emission controls are hooked up and it runs fine. So I do not need headers that have fittings to except the tubes. Where can i find a cheap set that will work. Also which years will fit. I know the bolt patterns are the same on any yr 351w but engine compartment sizes very.

From what i have seen Flowtech headers a pretty much the cheapest. As far as which years would fit try looking on their web site, I think its part of the holley site.

Maybe try some factory mustang headers for a bone yard, that would be cheap way to go, you wouldn't have the modify your current exhaust.

go with hedmans. only 30 dollars more than flowtech and much better quailty. flowtechs and dynomax are notrious for sometimes not matching up port wise.

I've heard several people with good luck on the Hedmans. I wouldent waste my time with Mustang headers, they wont fit in your engine compartment.

I have mustang headers on my bronco, they clear everything fine but I had to have a new y-pipe made. There are some pics. of them in my gallery.
