2.9 fuel injected idle speed adjustment

I have a l989 2.9 that idles about 700 rpms. Is that normal. The motor idles so low that the oil pressure gauge drops quite a bit. At 1000 rpms the oil pressure is in the normal/high range at 700 rpm drops near the zero mark.

Do I have a oil pressure problem or an low idle?
What is the "normal" idle speed for the 2.9.
Is there a way to adjust the idle up??

Thanks

700 rpms is about normal. The computer controls the idle speed. If you mess with the screw on the throttle body, the computer will soon reset the idle speed to 700.

I'd put my money (if I had any) on the oil pump. I had a similar problem with my truck and it turned out to be the OP.
