99' F350 PSD
Question for my buddies truck problem:
When the truck is running the dash light saying door ajar stays on all
the time and the interior and bed light come on when ever I slow down or
stop. After shutting the engine off, the interior/bed light stays on for
as much as a half hour.

Hey Cheetah Daddy....
I have experienced the same problem. I spray a little WD40 in where the plastic doo dad goes into the door (not the rubber accordian tube) and open and close the door a few times.
Ford replaced my switches one time and I've read some of the guys use the WD40 method. It seems to work. The problem, I believe is corrosion on the switch contacts.
(By the way, do you know who this is?) I'll give you a hint... yellow '01 Honda 400EX quad.

I had the same problem, along with OD light & spedo quit at low speeds. Took in to have the sensor replaced, & ended up with a new tranny & radiator, & a $3800.00 bill. The service mgr. said the radiator is not big enough to cool the tranny. Was a problem in 99 & 00 models & fixed in newer ones. I am looking for others that may have had this problem & if they got stuck as I have.
