As far as i've heard Harley didn't prefer the newer 2004 F150's so they are switching to the F250's. That's what i've heard, yet to find much proof of this as of yet but we'll see.
I saw a 04 F250 Crewcab HD the other day on a lot while getting parts. I thought it was pretty cool looking, it was a 4x4, I do not remember what motor.
Do not buy this truck if you have not seen it personally. Its a great 10 footer. I saw a 2004 F-350 H.D. in black and orange at Daytona Beach bike week and I went from needing one to just being disgusted with what I looking at. The paint job on the truck is horrible , I have seen better job from a Krylon can. The stripping didn't follow through the whole truck. The line from the tailgate to the bed DO NOT MATCH UP. Where the decals end you can see the poor tape job on the 2 tone where the orange bleeds into the black. You would think for close to 50g you would get a nice truck. Maybe I am just picky, but thats just me. Sorry guys . Kevin
*** Note to ford ,Good try next year a little more quaility control.***
Every HD Super Duty I've seen was perfect. HD is **** about that type of thing. Are you positive someone didn't decide to make one themselves, sort of like the fake Lightnings?
Sorry all but I would think that it was the real thing due to the truck sitting at a Ford display located at Daytona Speedway. I looked over the truck real well, I was going to buy one , even at the high price there asking. I already own the same truck (2001 F350 crewcab) and I am very happy with it. I just wanted to inform everyone of what I have seen. I hope the ford has already fixed the problems and I would love to see it done right. I'll be down in Mrytle Beach for bike week and I'll stop at the Ford display and take pics.
