Will a SRT-10 Wing fit a Lightning

Hey guys i've been eyeing the Dodge SRT-10 for a bit and found the wing on the back to be totally pimp. Just wanted to know if anyone knew if it would fit on a 2000 Ford Lightning? Or does anyone know of a similar style wing that would fit my truck? Thanks.

Cool Because....

I want to put it on my L because I actually like it, just because I have an L doesn't mean i'm gonna hate on a clearly better truck that's out right now. We have been owned for the best performance truck on the market at least until 2005 so we all need to get over it. The new dodge is sweet, no matter what we get in our trucks for 2005 we still can't say we have a viper engine. Of course I won't care I'll still be sportin the Gen2 L. Basically I give respect where it is due, i'm not byassed. If you wanna call putting a wing on a RWD truck ricer you obviously know nothing about downforce. You know on a RWD vehicle a wing actually helps. Wow! if being rice is holding the *** end to the ground off the line then i'll be a ricer. :-p

LightningSVT,

I have also seen a few L's with a wing that is actually part of the tail gate mold. I dont know where to find it at, but some of the guys I have talked to says it helps more that the wing that sits on top of the hard cover. It really uses the wind to help push down the rear end. And no I am not owned by Dodge, lol, there is a guy in Va Beach that has a SRT-10 that was beaten by a stock L... later bro.

That's awesome to hear about the SRT-10 getting owned by the L. Makes me very happy Nah I don't lose traction too much in the L luckily because I have a nice hard top on the back that holds me pretty well to the ground, just want a little down force for off the line and to help just a little with quick turning. Thanks for all the help guys, if you find where that wing for the L's is Sanders let me know. Thanks a lot.

Here are some wings from the JCWhitney website.

I was gonna get the tailgate spoiler, but they said it didn't fit my truck.

A wing does nothing for off the line traction, unless it weighed a couple of hundred pounds. lol. A wing only comes into play at high speed, when there is air moving fast enough to create downforce. (100 mph +) Face it. You just want to look cool. As far as quick turning goes, if you try quick turning at the speeds that a rear wing is working, you're going to roll that L.

Just because I happen to love the Expeditions, and the Escorts mean I'm a bad person, NO, and it doesn't make people who like bodykits bad either. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. I hope I didn't sound too harsh, if I did, sorry.

I like the look as well, but I worry about having to put something in the bed that might not fit if I had a wing. Six of one and half a dozen of another I suppose.

I wonder if you could rig it up to be removable. The ones on the SRT-10 are.
