Where are F250's made?

Does anyone know where F250's are made? VOPC indicates that mine was released from a foreign plant. Canada? Mexico? Mine's a diesel CC if that matters.

Thanks!

I assumed you have a VIN already. If not:

"The Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville is building 65 jobs an hour-up from 63-for a capacity of 370,000 units. Ford also has started building F-250s and F-350s in Cuautitlan, outside of Mexico City, and has the capability to build 60,000 for export to the United States and 20,000 for use in Mexico. Finally, Ford is now building motorhome chassis in Detroit rather than in Mexico."

Thanks!

The funny thing is my VIN indicates the Kentucky plant but the VOPC definitely said "foreign plant". Hmm, I thought that Kentucky was still part of the US of A!!! (insert joke here).

My VIN also has a digit not shown on this list- - for the diesel engine.

first digit in the vin will tell you the country of origin.

1 and 4 are usa... ford only uses 1 as a us designator however.... 2 is a canukian, and tres is a hispanic version.

ohh, and never purchase a vehicle with a y, or a k as the first digit
