Exclamation Service Manual

Who knows the best our cheapest place to get a Factory Service Manual?
It makes life a lot eaiser later on down the road for general repairs.

The only place to get a factory service manual is the Helm co.They are not cheap. Do a google search for the website.

Mitchell and chilton do not supply factory manuals. They only have their own version and they are not as good.

I do not believe those manuals will be out for quite some time.

They are out (the dealers need them) and yes they are expensive. $170 for the shop manual and $60 for the wiring book www.helminc.com

PUX17: How hard is it to understand do you have to be a TECH to read and work with that manual our is it somewhat user friendly?

No, you just have to read and comprehend English, don't skip steps. There will be special equipment that you will not have.

I purchased the factory service manuals when I bought my 88 Ford and it was a great investment. I have done virtually all the maintenace on that vehicle myself and those manuals came in handy. I will be purchasing them for my 2004.
