Spark plugs and coil recommendations.

Hi guys, I have a 2014 F250 6.2L with 175,xxx miles and I am coming up on needing to do spark plugs. I am wondering if y’all use the Ford oem replacement ones or if any of you have better recommendations. I have heard good things about the ruthenium plugs but I don’t know if they are worth the price. Also, do you guys recommend changing the coils on the truck? Thanks in advance for the advice

Don't waste your money on fancy plugs, get the ford motorcraft ones. I did change the wires. I belive I used the ac delco ones. I also changed the left bank of coils because I had a constant misfire, bought ngk ones. Everything is working flawlessly so far, I did mine last year, 160k miles. Just make sure to take the wheel well ljners out, saves a lot of time and hardache...

unless your truck is really modified engine wise, stick with the oem plugs. wires arent that expensive so i would do those too. Coils i wouldnt replace unless there is an issue. you can get coil rebuild kits that has a new resistor pill, spring and boot.

Agreed on the coil pill and boots.

I wouldn't swap coils unless you can verify one is bad. Motorcraft plugs and Motorcraft or Denso coils only.

Awesome! Thank you for the input guys. I didn’t want to go and spend a ton of money on fancy plugs if there is no reason to. I’ll look the coils over and see what they look like and see if there is a need to replace them.
