New 04 150's on the road

Made a two hundred mile trip yesterday. Round trip. Only seen one new F-150 pickup on the roads. The truck hasn't been out to long though. I hope to see alot more by summer. How about in your area. A lot of them on the roads where you are at. Another question. Do you know anybody that are seriously considering buying the new truck that are waiting for the bugs to be worked out if there are any. Or maybe you are waiting yourself. Thanks for your input.

I have owned an 04 f150 Lariat since 10/22/2003 and i have only seen about three in my area around Chicago. Dealers have a lot in stock but they don't seem to be moving off the lots.

Dozens and Dozens in the motor city. Can't go out without seeing another one.

I've seen more and more on my 30 mile trip home everyday. Seemed like for a long time I rarely saw one. They're getting more common in the Cincinnati area I drive in.

I have an 80-mile round trip commute to Pittsburgh every day. Tons of pickups on the roads around here, but very few new F150s. I've had mine since October. I would have expected to see more of them by now. BTW - I don't drive my truck to work. I would hate putting that kind of wear and tear on such a great vehicle. Maybe that's why I don't see more of them - other people might feel the same way.

That is so funny! Out of the zillion cars and trucks in Houston, seems like 10% of all vehicles are the new 2004 F150. They hit the streets here last August or so, I think.

Definitely agree with Houstonperson's observation. During my 25-mile commute in Houston I see at least six or seven others going each direction. I am the only one on my street with one, but there are at least two others in the vicinity of my neighborhood with the Blazin' Yellow paint color that I have.

Not too many around here. I've seen maybe a dozen different ones since I got mine in November. Damn, it is a nice looking truck though! I watched as service drove it out from behind the shop. I love the looks I get driving it.

Funny... I'm not surprised Texas folks would drive more trucks. But around these parts (Raleigh, NC) people are mostly minivan drivers..
All they care about is keeping up with the Jones' and taking their spawn to soccer games.

I feel quite out of place since I mow my own lawn and build my own decks and change my own oil. Plus haul mulch, dirt, and firewood (Yeah! I don't have gas logs like everyone else around here) etc.

Do I sound bitter?

I haven't spotted a 2004 F-150 in weeks.

I haven't seen too many in the Columbus, OH area. The dealer I bought mine from hasn't sold too many either. I still see the same ones on their lot that have been sitting there for months. They still have several new 2003 on the lot too.

I'm seeing them all over the place here in Virginia. It can't just be the fact that the Norfolk plant is here. Must be that Virginians really like Ford Trucks. On my way to work each morning (about a 20 mile drive), I see at least 4 '04 F150s, and these are back roads I'm taking to work.

Talking

There a 3 new F-150's alone on my street here in Magnolia, Tx. not including mine, and a few others in our neighborhood one of which is the twin of mine. Man these things are spreading like wild fire

Of course Texas is the truck capitol of the world

Spotting new F-150s

I work for Ford at a Visteon plant here in Michigan. We make the instrument panel for the new F-150. I haven't seen too many in the parking lot but there are a lot of screws and scabs from previous years. I imagine that will pick up soon since the people there get the A-plan pricing and most are Ford loyal.
