Getting better MPG! Why?
#17
I drive a V10 (see signature fo specs) and I averaged last year 10.7 mpg.Plowing snow it drops but on long trips the best I have ever seen is 12.5. Use to have a '97 Psd with simular specs and the best I ever saw in that was 15mpg (once) and I could average 11mpg a year. (1 year = 18000mi+/-.

Life without a truck payment ha one can dream. With the way I use my truck its usually cheaper to buy the extended warranty and run it till 60000 +/- miles and trade it. Truck payments are usually cheaper than high end repair bills. However I might keep this one when it is paid off and check out a '05-'06 SD dump if ford doesen't really mess up there styling or trustworthyness.

My '99 F150 4x4 3.73 E4OD was getting 13.2-13.7 mpg in city life. Drop the tailgate for highway use and it'd get close to 14.5-15 mpg.
My first tank in the '04 F250 FX4 CC 3.73 PSD was 17.66 mpg. Yeah, I drive like a grandma sometimes. If I ever feel the need for speed, I've got a sportscar in the garage for that.

Same hear 23' and the insurance agent loves when i pay the for the policy, and of course the bank loves to see me stop by. I have had 3 of these trucks and really enjoy them when they run right.
Take care and Happy powerstroken,
