Question check engine light (HELP)

Hello, i currently installed a flowmaster exhaust system and a different intake on my 2003 5.4 f-150, after a couple weeks my check engine light came on, i had a diagnostic test done and it came up dealing with fuel air mixture, im not exactly sure which way it was but i think the guy told me it was running with too much air, i disconnected my battery and cleared it out, it stayed off for about 3 weeks then came back on, does anyone know how to fix this problem, i dont want to end up screwing up my truck, by the way i am changing the intake to another one, i think im going to go with FIPK, air force, or a voolant, any suggestions there? someone told me i could buy a hypertech programer to fix this, is this true? please help and any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

First thing I would do is to clean the mass air sensor with some electrical parts cleaner, just spray it in. If your motor is running lean in both bank 1 and 2 it is frequently caused from the MAF being dirty or bad.

just thought of this, check the pcv plastic hose where it runs into the back side of the engine. the rubber elbow can crack.
