Best Electric Fan for '72 F100

My plan is to run electric cooling fans on my balanced 302. The radiator in my truck measures 24" W x 18" D. All the fans at Summit or others aren't quite the same dimension. Is anybody running a fan that works? And if so, what kind and what are the dimensions? Thanks. Jim

found it

thanks for the tips. I surfed into the Flex-a-Lite site, they have a new twin 13.5" unit, 28x17, new design w/thermostat and AC relay. It has an adjustable, variable speed switch, CFM's from 2600-4600. It's the one I'm looking for, I'll let you know the $.

That new fan is the model # 295, from Flex-a-lite.
It's a little bit larger than the core on your current radiator. If your radiator is still a stock down flow radiator, the fan can hang over the sides of the core, you just need to fabricate something, flat piece of metal, for the fan to seal against so it doesn't just suck the air in from the sides.
With the fan rated @ 4600 CFM, it won't have any problem keeping a 302 cool.
