Buying a 2004 F150
Going to buy an '04 F150 FX4 Just thought I'd get some thoughts.
1) Vibration - This has me concerned. I test drove 4 F150's. 1 had the vibration - a 2004 lariat.
2) Moonroof - Owners, worth the money?
3) Trailer mirrors - I don't pull a very long trailer, but the heated feature might be handy
4) Rustproofing - Dealer Options (Scams?) Or oil guarding.
My dealer is currently offering me 700 bucks (Canadian) over invoice and the best trade I've been offered out of the three Ford dealers I've been too.
Anybody like to offer an X-Plan my way?
Thanks for your current thoughts, and yes, I've also looked through replies with the search button.

I have just passed on a 2003 f150 fx4 lariat to my son. I purchased the truck off a lot with the moonroof. I am picking up my new 2004 f150 4x4 lariat tomorrow. Sad thing is I had to go to dallas to find it. I personally think that this is big waste of money. I hardly ever used it, and I think that I would have enjoyed other after market add-ons much more. i.e., tonneau cover, bigger tires, nicer stereo syatem, new rims, etc. This is just my personal opinion, I am sure this will come down to what is important to you. Good luck
