Dist rotation-Counterclockwise
This is supposed to be from a Chilton's manual for an 87 F250.
From the front of the engine to the back:
left side: 1,2,3,4
right side: 5,6,7,8
dist placement is from the 12:30 or 1:00 postion
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

Yeah he's right.
A good hint that I always use is that if you number it like a Chevy it fires like a Chevy therefore if you think of the cylinders as being numbered across like a BBC then they will fire 18436572. Basically the same cylinder position fires at the same time, it is just numbered *** backwards on that engine.
