My wife has 95 Ranger xlt 2wd 3.0 with auto tranny. My question is are there any hipo parts for the 3.0 and where do I get em? If not I plan to swap a built 302 into it will mustang headers fit or will customs ones have to be made

go 302 advance adaptors has everything you need for mounts oil pan radiator headers you will need a different tranny thought and depending on state laws you might have to stay with a motor of the same year and swap the computer and all the sensors in

should have an 8.8 which is pretty tuff for what it is i have an 86 and a 95 150's with 5.0s and they go through alot with the way i drive i have a bad habit of breaking the rear tires free at about 40mph but for anything over 350 horse i would go with the 9 inch as far a tranny i run the c-6 in the 86 5.0 ho and my 69 5.9 400 horse i find it to hold up to abuse alot better than the c-4 i blew the tail shaft out of

The C4 was free swaped 2.3 with C4 to 5.0 with tremic T5 in my 77fairmont thinking of going with T5 in ranger all depends on cost of motor still building 302. I was told mid 80s fox chassis oil pan will work any body know?

i believe that will work if you check www.advanceadaptors.com i think they say on there what will work they sell all the parts for the swap i did a (unfortunetly) s-10 just to try and they were very helpful with instructions on what to do cut and weld also what was required for parts (trany mounts, radiator, oil pan, etc.)
