To ditch witch,
You can wire around your switch and I would have no issue with that concerning the Start Prevent function of the switch. The remaining and very important issue would be the Cruise Control cancel function of the switch. I have cruise control and as soon as your foot touches the clutch pedal you would want the cruise control to disengage to prevent engine over rev. Defeating the switch would not be an option for me. If you could direct people you know to this thread perhaps one would know an answer for me and you both.
