turn signals 53 f-100

I have a 53 f-100 w/o turn signals.
I bought a switch and was looking for a simple wiring diagram
to wire all lights to work. right now i just have brake and front
and rear running lamps.

Chris, do you still have the 6 volt positive ground electrical system in that beauty?

I don't have a wiring diagram, but they can be found on the 'net already. My shortest answer is;

You'll need to install new sockets in the front parking lights, sockets that will take a two filament 6v bulb such as the 1154. Then you'll need to wire the turn signal into the brighter side of the front turn signal lamps and the running/parking lights in to the dim side of the front lamps. The rear turn signal gets wired into the brake light side of the rear lamps.

I just did a google search on "turn signal switch wiring' and found plenty of citations.

Good luck.

Edit; boy, that was weird. I just noticed that this was your first post and my 1000th post.
