suspension packages
When i ordered my truck (2001 sc, auto, v10) i didnt order the camper package or the snow plow package, instead i ordered the heavy duty service suspension package, i made this decission based on it sounded like it gave me the most for my money, if i would have lets say gotten the camper and the snow plow packages what would be different between them. did i make a bad decision?

suspension packages
If it's not to late, I would suggest changing the order to include the Snow Plow Prep Package (86M) and the Off Road package(55R).The Snow Plow Prep Package INCLUDES everything that the GAWR Package (682) & the Suspension Package (674) has.
As for the Camper package the only advantage to it is the Certification for a slide in camper (if you have one).
The Off Road package gives you the Skid Plates (very nice).
Other nice options for the money are:
76R- Rear Sensing for $210.00 Invoice
86R- Trailer Hitch & Wiring for $130.00 (good deal)
948- Keyless Entry for $146.00
IF YOU LIKE TO GET YOUR TRUCK DIRTY, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE Carpet Delete. the rubber floor looks great and is very practical and gives you $44.00 to play with.
You did not state what engine you ordered, but if you ordered the V-10 it's a winner but get the 4.10 or 4.30 rear axle ratios.
I offer this advice as someone who just took delivery of my second Super Duty and struggled to equip this truck for max-use duty. I wanted the strongest chassis possible, the V-10 with the 4.30 rear axle ratio will give you the same pulling power as the Diesel without the additional $4500.00. However, you comprimise fuel economy. I will not debate the value of the Diesel as I now own one of each and love them both!!!
TO EACH THERE OWN!!!
Let me know if anything I suggested was of help to you!
