Here's what I use when I do a full detail:

3M SMR
Klasse All-In-One (AIO)
Klasse Sealant Gloss (SG)
I've just started using Maguiar's NXT instead of the SG
S100 to top it off.

And the result:

never use a one step wax/polish product. the best thing you can do, w/out going into anything complicated like buffing, is clay(which makes a huge difference), polish(may have to do this twice, really work it in there), and then wai like a good paste wax that has no cleaners in there. wax isn't supposed to make the truck shiny. it just protects the shine that the clay and the polish made. i put a second coat of wax on and leave it there for about an hour. the key is to put in on really thin.) this long process only needs to be done about every year or so. a good wax (no matter what they claim) only lasts about 2-3 months. if you put a coat of wax on every 2 months it should keep it well protected. it sounds like alot of work, but after the surface is all smooth and shiny the wax that you put on every 2 months goes on thinner and comes off alot easier. i can wax my truck in about a half hour.

Lucky you. Whenever I do a full detail, it usually takes me about 17 hours split into 3 days--10 hours the first day, 4 on the second and third day. But fortunately, since I use polymer waxes, I don't have to worry about waxing it every 2 months. I usually do this twice a year. I just use QD after every wash to ensure the shine and depth of the paint.

meguiers is great stuff. 3M is also. if you can find a place that sells auto paint and othe stuff for auto body they might have something in there. you will also need a buffer. it works wonders and makes the job faster.

a good yellow paste wax that contains no polymers will out last any wax, which is only a few months. polymers are put in alot of wax's to add shine, but they take away form the protection and wear off faster. with i shine like yours i'd use a pure paste wax like meguiars, mothers, or 3m. i'm not trying to bash your style. fee free to attack what i said. i like when people question it because thats where i learn most of my tips. if nobody ever crtisized my style i'd probably be using turtle wax one step right now.

96explorereddieb-

You know it's a nice job you've done when I can tell you that the day you took the photograph, you were wearing a white baseball cap (turned around backwards), white t-shirt and blue jeans! I'm referring to your REFLECTION in the front passenger door. BEAUTIFUL wax job! Great color, too! I think that was the only year you could get that particular shade of green in the EB, and it's one of my favorites.
