I may have to move back to WA to help out my Mama. Wages are just plain higher over there, and after the divorce, she's in a tighter spot than she's used to. I'm back in WA right now, borrowing my sister's laptop, seeing what the situation is like. Since I am currently unemployed, I reckoned this was a good time to go back for a couple weeks. I have inquired about employment, and I have a good chance at a job that pays nearly twice what I made in Billings. I love MT, but family takes precedence. We'll see what happens.
I was just getting used to thinking of myself as a Montanan too. Maybe I'll get to stay a Montanan, maybe I'll get stuck being a Washingtonian again. Washingtonian is simply not as cool as Montanan.
But I think even if I do move back, I'll still tell people I'm from MT. They'll ask fewer questions that way about my mountainman-ness.

Man, the ol' termination, eh? That sucks man. All I can say is welcome to the club. Have you enough previous work history to suck up some unemployment?

Well now it's looking more like I get to stay in MT, which according to my allergies, is a great thing. I get back into Billings in a week, and I can't wait.

Yeah I called up my Grandma the other day to see how she was doing with me out of town, and she said it's been great, 65 or so most days. I can't wait to get back.
