Somebody tell me why when looking at 04 f350 4x4 srw supercab some do not have overload springs while a few do?Ilooked on the window sticker of truck with them and there was no indication of a camper package.both had same gvw(9700?)and 5200 front axle with plow prep package

Here's what the 2004MY F-250 Marketing Strategy and Mix Recommendations book says about the availability of auxillary springs:

Auxillary Springs: Std. with 5.4L SRW with Camper Pkg., Snow Plow Pkg., Max Front GAWR, Heavy Service
Suspension Pkg. and King Ranch.

Ojale Huay! Es mucho bueno, no?

hello again boys so the answer is it is standard with the plow package i got the plow package in my f350 with no overload spring? not that they do much because of the distance between the spring and the bracket at the frame, and of the fact that it is only a 63/4 ft bed!

Looks like you wont be haulin much without the overloads.really, do you think you need them anyways.I agree that with sb what could you possibly put in ther anyways to make it squat that much. And i dont think they would help that god awful sag in the rear that i got with the 350.

It's standard on F250's with these packages, it didn't say anything about F350's. See the booklet name:

2004MY F-250 Marketing Strategy and Mix Recommendations, there wasn't one available for F350's.

Quite often I haul a load of mulch, gravel, or dirt in my short box that puts it right on the helper springs. So it is possible and I have the heavy duty rear springs and the plow package. Just an FYI.

my 9 ft lance camper is 2500lbs and without my air bags it bottoms the rear out and the truck would ride on the overloads

I know there are many people driving superduty's now but if you have to ask why you need overloads should you be driving a SD?Mine use to touch daily when I pulled my loaded trailer. Now they don't thanks to a good thick add a leaf.

I have my stock springs with no overloads on my 00 f250, got it with the heavy service package, and the PSD, thats it. I usually get a 1800-2000 lb bale, 3 times a week for about 2 years, it only sags about an inch, but still have plenty room until it hits the stops.
