Open the hood and across the front, near the radiator, is a long crank with a "L" shaped handle. Remove this tool. Next, open the rear hatch. Right in the middle, near the top of the bumper, is a small hole. Insert the long straight part of the crank into this hole and turn counter clockwise to lower the tire.

Good Luck.

Once you get it down, spray some lubricant into the mechanism so it won't bind up.

It runs right across the front. I believe real close to the radiator. If you bought your Expy used, you might not have it. A friend of mine bought his used, and his was missing. This thing is a couple of feet long, you can't miss it. Sounds like yours is MIA.

You might be able to crank it down with a long flathead screwdriver until you get a new crank.
