I have a 2001 F250. Does anyone know how to alter the in-dash switch to allow the fog lights to remain on while the high beams are on? I would like to use my fog lights and high beams together while four wheeling. Thanks for your input.

 

The switch is not where the change has to be made. I've installed fog lights on previous vehicles and in the instructions it has the power leads tapped into the low beam circuit, so that when you go from lows to highs the for laps drop out. You'll have to get a wiring diagram for your truck and see where to make the changes. Remember if you connect into the high beam circuit the fogs won't work on low beams. Only way to do it that I can see is to put another switch in the dash board and attach directly to the battery, in that instance you'll have to remember to turn the fogs off.

When I ordered my truck (2000), I had the dealer install fog lights. My fog lights stay on with my high beams. You can ask your Ford dealer. Mine is Jacobsen Ford in Sturgis, SD, and they are THE BEST!
