Radiator issues!

Does anyone know how to change the radiator on the 2004 expedition? I purchase an aftermarket radiator and for some reason the transmission valve screw does not fit, now I'm stuck with it because of no refund policy. I tried going to pep boys, autozone and Strauss to purchase the 3/8 disconnector which doesn't fit and as a matter of fact the 1/4 which is the smallest I've seen is also to big. All I really need Is a disconnector that will allow me to remove the screw from the valve and it will be completed but no repair shop seem to have it for this particular year SUV. Does anyone have any good ideas on how I can get my hands on a disconnector custom made for this model yr?

Instructions

Don

I am getting ready to replace the heater core in my 2001 F-150. I could really use those step by step instructions. Could you e-mail them to me?

*bump* Autoparts Warehouse no longer lists the Four Seasons brand heater core for the '97 to '0? F150's. They list ProRad, Spectra, Metrix, and Vist Pro, in order of increasing price around $48 to $62. Anyone have any recent knowledge of these brands or other quality parts and heater core manufacturers?
