Can you run propane and a SuperChip at the same time? I was reading on Superchip.com and they said you cant run propane with it. Please tell me ya can b/c if not that will break some dreams of mine Propane+SuperChip=about180more HP!! Right now i have the SuperChip microtuner and am thinking about buying propane injection.
i wouldnt think about running a chip. they really hurt the tranny in the long run. take it to an international dealership and have then reconfig the comp after you add propane.
i would sell it. or at least speak with some people that have had them in your model year truck and see how they feel about them. the aeod is not the strongest tranny, they put the same things in lincoln town cars

How can this be? I don't dispute that Ford could have built a better tranny for the SD, but the same tranny as a Lincoln - tell me it ain't so!
You're going to need a very expensive professional rebuild on the tranny to beef it up for that kind of power. Plus an EGT gauge. Also, a full 5 inch exhaust and intake kit. Even with all that, its not going to long last before something breaks.
I run propane and a high hp chip, and am still plugging away without any tranny problems. You won't see that much power improvement, though. The propane is worth an honest 80rwhp, but the chip doesn't add that much on a dyno. The combination chip/propane has added a little over 100rwhp to my truck.
