Does any one know if a 1955 239 block has any value, I bouught it because it had a set of heads I wanted.

Appears to be bored .30 over, and likely needs rebuild.
Would this have any value, or be worth more at the scrap yard?

The crank may be of interest to someone wanting to destroke a 292 for racing.
Save the pan and front cover also.

Hello guys,

Thats about what I figured would end up doing, I think the cam is the same as my 292, will have to mike it to be sure, also will for sure save the timing cover and bell housing, as you mention they dont make them any more and hate to toss it for junk, may keep the block around a while if appears to be intact. thanks for the info.
