Thought I would pass along this trick I used to remove a little ATF from my tranny last week. I wanted to remove about 1/2 quart of fluid without droping the pan. So I got out my suction gun that I use to drain and fill my differentials with, added 5 ft of 3/8 x 1/2 ID clear tubing and pushed the tube into the dip stick tube. A quick pull on the plunger and I had the fluid in the gun. Neat and no mess.

I think I'll use this before dropping the pan next time to prevent the M V shower of fluid. Hope this helps someone. Cheers
