Rancho RSX Shocks
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has put these shocks on there truck?? I have a 02 SD CC 4x4 PSD. I seems to be having trouble getting the correct part # for the rear shocks and steering stabilizer, getting 2 different #'s. My truck has the stock suspention, no lift. Any feed back would be appreciated and if anyone knows the correct part # that would be even better!! I have 2 part #'s for the rear, rsx17075 and 17072. The steering stabilizer I have rs5406 and rs5410. I told them I want to just replace the OEM shock, using the same brackets.
Thanks
Mike

First the steering stabilizer:
RS5406 is slightly longer than stock. You will have to move the bracket over 1"-2". Easily doable.
The RS5410 is a direct bolt-on replacement. No modifications needed at all.
As far as the shocks, this info is from Rancho's website, www.gorancho.com
The fronts are RSX17076, the rears are RSX17075.
The RSX17072 is used when you have the Rancho 2-1/2" leveling kit.
FYI. If you want to save some money, the Monroe Reflex shock is the exact same shock as the RSX. Even made at the same plant. Monroe and Rancho are both part of Tenneco Automotive. The only difference is that the Reflex are painted silver, the Ranchos are painted white.
Fronts are 911195
Rears are 911196
