Question 1950 F3 Height

Hey, can someone give me the height of a '50 F3, stock? I have a rough idea, but my truck is in the shop right now (new spring bushings)...

Jeff,

I don't know exactly what height you are referring to or how useful these measurements will be because I took them last year for my own information as I wanted to know how much my 48 F-3 would be lowered from where it was when I finished it. Some of the measurments might not make any sense to anyone else. My truck was original except it had 16 inch wheels and tires instead of 17 inch, but the height of the 16 inch tire and wheel combination was very close to the 17 inch which came with the truck as a spare. All measurements are in inches...

From ground to the top of the cab at it's highest point - 81.0
From ground to top of the frame at the front bumper - 20.5
From ground to bottom of running board at front fender - 12.5
From ground to bottom of running board at rear fender - 13.75
From ground to bottom of frame at rearmost point - 21.0

Hope this helps some. I took these last year before I started dismantling the truck for suspension changes.

Jeff,

I know what you mean. I just had a garage built last year and had the same concerns. I had a 7 foot door installed and my F-3 would have cleared the door by only three inches if I had not already got the Volare installed.
