Question Kendall Motor Oil?

Anyone know much about Kendall motor oils? I think their made by the sme company that makes Motorcraft oils.
I've heard they have a Syn-Blend/High Mileage oil.

Don't know much about them. In the olden days (70s) it was always a top name. Check the website and look at the tech data. Might be pretty good stuff. Seems to me Kendall is more popular with motorcycles.

Here's a link to their site. It looks like they have dino, synthetic blend, full synthetic, and high milage type oils. I haven't used them so I cant say anything from personal experience, but the specs look to be in line with most other oils of their respective types. I wouldn't hesitate to use it if the price point was right.

In this part of the country, it is only available in bulk. My BMW shop uses it and so do Firestone service centers. I think it is part of ConocoPhillips now, so it would be the same company that makes Motorcraft.

Kendall used to be a great product. The drag racers loved the GT-1 70 (yes 70 weight!). Along with Pennzoil and Quaker State, it was sold in the early days with the benefits of its Pennsylvania Grade crude oil. A few large fleets used it also.

They never struck me as being particularly interested in mass marketing their products - maybe that's why they got bought.

We used Kendall till the late 80's. Dont rememebr why we switched. Maybe because John Force said to buy Castrol. Either way, now we're with Mobil.
