TYPO, I meant electric water pump?

I was flipping through summit's catalog and came across electric water pumps. I found one that eliminates the water pump on the 4.6l V8. Now it flows 55 gpm and draws 5.8 amps. Anyone know whether or not this is a good idea. Would it keep the engine cool offroading and towing, and if combied w/ an electric fan would it pull too many amps? Fans draw 28 amps at 100% for a total draw of 33.8 amps. On summit's site the part # is MEZ-WP346.

The power that you would save from eliminating the belt drag of the fan and waterpump, would be be lost in the added drag on the alternator to run these items.
I would not recommend the change myself.
