Does anyone know the differences between the 1999 and 2000 F250? Were there any improvements? What are important considerations when purchasing a used F250 PSD? There is not a whole lot of difference in price between the two I am just wondering is there any good reason to spend the extra $$ on the 00. Also what are the major differences between F250 and F350?

 

I think if you look through the TSB's and the posts from '99 owners, you will see the majority of complaints come from '99 owners. 1999 was the first model year, and I think many people will agree that the first year is often the most problematic. My father has a '99 and still has been unable to get Ford to correct a spring squeek! If I had'nt just ordered a 2002, I would get a '00 or '01.
As for F250 vs. 350, if you get the single wheel 350, you don't gain that much. We ordered the 350 SRW, but that was mainly because we haul a large camper, and need every little bit of extra payload. Most of the components are the same though I believe.
