Use a couple of pieces of coat hanger wire bent into u shapes. They work just as well as the special factory tool and cost a whole lot less

Circuit City installation dept has the tool. They won't sell you the tool, but they undid mine for free. They even gave me a carrying case for my removeable faceplate Alpine and the mounting bracket for it, free. I also bought some stereo stuff from them and a few hundred dollars worth of CD's. One hand washing the other...

Coat hanger works fine, But I bought the tool from walmart. I think it was less than $5 for the pair.

Try Crutchfield. I have used them for many years. They have good prices. They sometimes have good clearence or scratch and dent items. They include everything needed to change the radio in the Truck. Wire harnesses, tools for removing the radio, kit to make the new radio fit properly and clear instructions. Swapping mine was as easy as lego.

Bought mine at Walmart. Also, buy the harness adapter for your truck. Very easy install if you have it.

just get some wire. it'll probably need to be thicker than a coat hanger though. bend it in to 2 u shapes. put them in the hole and at the same time bend outward and it should come right out. only insert them an inch or so. my buddies and i couldn't figure it out but i just got someone to show me.
