Rhino Lining vs. Line-X
I've had Rhino for about three years and it looked a little dull. I used the FOREVER BLACK available at the rhino dealer, it seemed to make it like new again.
I don't think that it faded, but was extremely dirty and not polished.
Line-x guys, have you had to shine your liner like I have??

Rhino Lining vs. Line-X
I had a Line-X sprayed in January. I chose the Line-X because I had heard a couple complaints about Rhino when doing research. I then called each local sprayer and felt better about the Line-X guys. I will never have another drop-in liner again.
Good luck,

Rhino Lining vs. Line-X
Have not had any experience with the LineX but no complaints with the Rhino. The only problem that I had with the Rhino was I had the lower rocker panels done, they color matched it, but put it on paper thin. I believe that is the reason that I had problems with the rockers. The rockers started to peel off after about 4-6 months, had to go back and have it redone ( at their cost ). They then put it on just as thick as the bed and no problems after that, have had it since '96. The bed has been fine, I have not had any problems there. It did dull after about a year, but I have used it for wood, dirt, mulch and etc. Cleans up easy. Will never have another drop in liner.

Rhino Lining vs. Line-X
I think the question might be who does a better job locally? At the Indiana State Fair dealers for both companies had displays. The local Line-X dealer (Indianapolis) does a better installation job. I know someone who got a Rhino liner, and the installer got some of the material on his leather seat, (the Rhino dealer replaced the $1200 seat). My brother-in-law has an older Rhino liner, and yes it has fadded. At the fair, the Line-X dealer had pieces of a Rhino liner that they had replaced (the bed wasn't sanded) and encouraged people to rub the Rhino material aginst the Line-x coated truck bed. The Line-X was harder, and abraded the Rhino material. Personally, I liked the local Line-X dealer's installiation, the more uniform look of the Line-X, but the idea of the softer Rhino material seemed as if might prevent load shifting more. I have had both mats, and drop in liners in the past. How about some feedback by Line-X owners? do you have any trouble with load shifting? Can you slide somthing across the bed to unload?

Rhino Lining vs. Line-X
I have the Rhino, but Line X would be a good choice also. The most important thing is to check out the work of a dealer before committing to the job.
I carry a slide in camper and that's why I got the Rhino lining. It's thicker and more "rubbery". Stuff does not slide including my 4000 lb camper (even taking it on extremely rugged "roads"). I've also shoveled dirt out of the bed with no damage to the liner from running the shovel into it. The Line X would probably be more durable for regular shovel work because it's thinner and harder. I've also heard a guy with the Line X complain that his slide in camper shifts around.
