original tire size for 47 1 1/2 ton

what was the original tires size for a 47 1 1/2 ton with 20" wheels

7.50 x 20 8 ply (front and rear) or 8.25 x 20 10 ply on rear only for trucks with 2 speed rear, fronts were still 7.50 x 20.

sorry to be a pain but the book i have says the fronts shoulb be 6.5x20 8ply and it was only the C.O.E that ever had 7.5's on the front for more info i've posted all the tyre sizes here: http://ford-trucks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=269936

The tire sizes I quoted came directly from a couple of original (not reprint) factory Ford brochures and such that I have in my 42-47 Ford truck collection.

maybe ford just do a lot of changes - thesizes i used for the list of weights and everything came from a 46/47 ford service manual - i'd tell u the title but therews no cover
