Volare lowering options

I've been looking at ways to make my truck sit lower with the Volare front end. No Limit Eng. has two products they sell to accomplish this. 2" Dropped Spindles($415), and modified lower control arms with the ball joints raised 2" ($169). Is one any better than the other besides price wise?

Im wondering the same question. Those darned spindles are a little pricey.

Would the lower control arms be a good investment?

Craig

I've read about people having clearance issues with the control arms and some aftermarket wheels. (wheel rubbing arm or caliper?). Don't know what kind of wheels though. Perhaps Truckfarmer knows. The arms look hokey to me, kinda homemade. If I ever go any lower, it would be spindles for me.

The advice I got from 2 owners, avoid the control arms. Both wiped out good rotors.

Hi

Ok make it three owners. Wiped out brand new rotors. Had to cut alot more metal from the arms then I liked to get clearance to rotors.

As soon as I find some stock control arms I will buy the dropped spindles, by the way No Limit also charges a $80.00 core charge for the lower arms.

Hey Craig, where have you been? And how can you want to go any lower? Are you moving to the mountains and going to use that truck as a snowplow? Just kidding, I know yours is going to be super custom and low. It's good to see you posting. John in Sacramento
