wide

Bfife,

Welcome to the forum. It appears this is your first post.

I lurked for weeks. How about you?

Wide is good for sand, but I drive on paved roads 100% of the time.

I am running LT235/85R16 Load Range E
2- BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All Season on the front
4- BFGoodrich Commercial T/A Traction Mud&Snow on the rear.
The road noise from the rear is very low.

What do you guys use for the shim material? Do you have to take the bumper completely off, or can you use u-shaped shims and just loosen it enough to install them?

My 285/75/16s are rubbing on my 97 PSD CC F250

You can use flat washers or take a piece of iron pipe the correct size and cut as many shims as you need.

U shaped shims would also work but I would be concerned with them shifting when you have them stacked an inch or so under a bolt.
