installing A 2002, 5.4L Ford Harley supercharger assembly to a 2001 harley
i have the opportunity to buy a 2002 harley davidson supercharger assembly complete with intake, intercooler, fuel rails, injectors, throttle body, coil packs, wiring harness and all sensors. I would like to install this on my 2001 harley. does anyone know if this is possible and the costs involved? anyone have success?
I am doing the same thing to my truck right now. Go to Ebay and look up item 2463777220. This will answer your question his name is Mike. He is a nice guy and yes I know people that have used him from other posts. It is possible.
I wanted to know if you had any luck installing the super charger. I am getting ready to rip my truck apart to start the hot rod process (4-link rear, tranny, motor, etc.).
Any info would be of help. Thanks.
I am going to make this short because I could write pages and pages on this conversion. The bottom line here is you will spend a boat load of money. If you want to call me and talk about my name is Dale. 281-997-3704
Thanks for the info. After more consideration, I think I will probably go the Vortech route. It looks like around $4k for the whole kit. I would be interested in any thoughts about camshafts, ignition, shift kits, torque converters, etc. that you have on the 5.4L . I'm also curious about how to modify the motor and keep the computer happy. I see Crane Cams has a new programmable controller out, and also many others. I don't know much about Fords (but I'm learning) and could use any advice. I just ordered the shop manuals too.
Thanks much,
Dynamyt
