I have seen a new commerical on the TV that states there is $2000 rebate on F150. Has anyone else seen this or is it for the northeast only? My dealer hasn't found it yet. It doesn't say it's for the Heritage, and it shows the new body style.

 

Ford can be really tricky sometimes when advertising rebates. On my way to school one morning I heard a radio commercial stating a $1500 rebate on the all new 2004 F150. So I call my salesman he checks into it and calls me back and it only applies to 2004 regular cab models. I guess they try to "trick" you into visiting the dealer's lot and then catching the new car fever bug and you'll buy what ever's in front of you regardless of rebates.

 

They always have these tv ads on that say all of these "hooks". But out here in the Northwest they played an ad on tv that said 4000 dollar rebate on the 04 f150, and it had a pic of the new style. So anyways, i was taping a tv show so i had it on tape!. I stopped it and replayed and it totally was the new truck. Well needless to say i was wating to get a new F150 and I went to the dealer and they said oh no...that is just for the 03 models. Then I brought out the tape, and played it for them right there in the sales managers office. Well they gave me the rebate, but destroyed the tape. Good luck to me. Now i have my new truck and am lookin into a new X for the misses.

 

JJf100, why in the heck didn't you MAKE A COPY of the tape to take to the dealer? You could have made a killing off of it by selling it for $100 a pop! Are you sure the extreme fine print at the bottom didn't specify it was only for the heritage model?
