Kodiak Steps
Just ordered a pair of Kodiak's with the 8" legs, I know SDhq offers extended legs, but I don't want to buy them.
Anybody have them? how hard does it look to fab up some 12"ers?
On edit: Since everybody is jumping all over this one...
Another question...I see that the units use some sort of switch that when the door opens they lower....Im thinking with the use of some relays, could I hook them up so that I could use the "trunk" button on my bulldog remote???
Thoughts??

Kodiaks huh?
Don't see any reason that it can't be done. Only problem I see is cycling the steps up on ignition, and not driving around with them down. I would lean toward putting them on a timed circuit so regardless of if you remember to raise them or not they will retract. Then you could set the door mechanism up to override the trunk button as the final relay. If it don't work with the stock remote, get yourself a good secondary alarm like I have ( Clifford complete with remote start, pager, and display that looks like a mini cell phone ) These are really adaptable.
