I ordered mine mid feb and recd last week.Captain chairs were in it.

 

Yes there is an availability issue w/ the center console if you order Captians chairs in FX4 or Lariat. A salesman told me this when I was looking for the best tradein value for my old truck and I thought it may be BS, but I confirmed it with a Ford employee (friend) who sells the vehicles wholesale to 1 of the 5 delaership zones in Michigan.

I ordered my truck w/ captains chairs on March 4th and had it March 22. My "friend" may have had something to do with that though.

 

I love my leather heated captains chairs. Most comfortable seat I've been in. It'll be worth the wait.

 

Order my Lariat with Black Captain chairs Feb 12. Shipped from KC plant March 24. Should arrive in about a week.

 

I ordered the XLT with captain chairs and dvd player......I've been waiting since 27 Dec 03, but it's suppose to be built next week.

 

I would not be a happy camper if I were you.

 

I think that the thing that held up my truck was the heated seat option with the captains chairs. I just received word monday from my dealer that the truck has been built. Ordered it on Jan. 15th. Its been a long wait. Should be driving it by the time the weather gets warm. So much for heated seats.

 

You'll be happy next winter tho, Mike. They get warm in like 3 minutes...it's NICE.
