Sraight Axle Swap

Hello, I am building the big kahuna (My Wife) a '94 Bronco. I will be swapping out the TTB for a Dana44 Straight front axle. So far I have a 9" skyjacker lift for a '78 '79, james duff radius arms, and 38x15.5x15 SSR's on 15x12 rims. All I need is Brake lines, shocks and a straight axle 5 lug dana 44. If someone has already done this and could share some info it would be much appreciated. I live in centennial.

Try searching for "sas" or "axle swap" or "ttb swap" in the Big Bronco forum and in the Brakes, Steering, Suspension, Tires, Wheels forum. I know this topic has been discussed more than once in those forums.

You could also post your query in either the Big Bronco forum:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/f...?s=&forumid=44

or in the B,S,S,T,W forum:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/f...?s=&forumid=64

(Please don't cross-post in both forums at the same time though. It dilutes the responses and reduces the ultimate value of the technical content.)

Also, I know several guys in the 2Big Broncos club here in Colorado have done this swap. Some of them would probably be willing to help you with wrench turning, as well as advice/suggestions.

Check out my other post where I mentioned the club's web site:
