Haaa...funny, and I was just checking the board. Some of it has been this is my busiest time during the year for work. Most of it has been my saga of switching over from an auto to a stick. Kinda one of those deals where one thing leads to another and ends up in a big flustercuck. Currently, I have all my parts but getting them bolted up has been a pita. For example, I just got my Canton race oil pan but it interfers with my front crossmember so now I am gonna have to take my $300 friggin oil pan and cut into it to customize it for my truck. Since I don't want to take the stick to it I'm waiting on a buddy and his tig to finish that. I had to drop my exhaust and cut into my copper radiator lines to drop the pan...so all of that is apart...and I can't even begin to bolt the tranny in untill the oil pan is in. Had to rebuild the stick....been a pain in the **** finding all of the right stuff...get the flywheel resurfaced, etc. Then I'm gonna have to get my intermediate driveline cut and balanced, etc. Basically I've been busy as hell and haven't had my usuall time to hang out on FTE. But I'm still around, never fear

Yea..........its not gonna happen. No way in hell I'll be ready for the bog Not even sure if I'll go....I'm not much of a spectator, more of a center stage kinda freak...

edit: whats driving me nuts is the pan is whats causing the big hold up, not the tranny swap....and the pan was "supposed" to be a minor detail.

Yea, the "devils in the details" and ain't it true! Yea, my '72 is a 4x4 but with only 35s and a ls front and rear it would do only average at the bogs. Plus, it only has bfg m/ts. Kinda hard to take that to a bog when you are used to being King Dog of the herd...

spooled up front and rear you'll be fine. You won't be able to make the big tank trap, but you'll have fun with the smaller holes and the hill climb.

Eat my truck!? Please. I pulled a fried cheby with its tranny seized from a dead stop out of the depths of it. Thats the one where I was doing wheel stands and ultimatly started me on my tranny swap. Theres only about three trucks that can make it through it both ways that I've ever seen, mine of course being the baddest

A Zookie couldn't spin 44" tires in the clay/mud pits we have up here...not without a complete drive train/big block swap which I have never seen done to a Zook.
